This week I rewrote my climax scene a little to give my intrepid hero a moment in the sun. Of course they’re underground in a cave so not literal sun…but you get the point. I tend to be so focused on my heroine that I forget all about the hero when the bad guys start piling up. So that was good. Then I did exercise # 29 in the Writing The Breakout Novel Workbook which was “point of view”. In that chapter I went through the whole manuscript chapter by chapter and made an improvement every time in the area of point of view. I made one statement or action into something that only that point of view character would do or say. Something unique to only her. This took awhile but was worth it.
