This week I’m pouring myself into critiquing a manuscript for my crit partner, Jenn. She very kindly read about 73 pages of The Wandering Wood for me in haste so that I could submit to an agent who was interested and then she knew that I was on deadline for that purse-dog hiking romance and zoomed through the whole thing on her phone, giving me the tools I needed to make the story super fun. I’m about finished with her first 100 pages and hoping she has more to send. It is a great story, that’s been doing really well in contests. I think some agent will snap her up any time now.
