This week I finished up to chapter fifteen of my next Passport to Romance idea. Rough drafts are so bad, but if I get it down on paper quickly at least I have something to work with and can go back to make it better. I don’t know if I’m going to quite get it finished in a month, although my deadline is Monday si I guess I still have a few days. I’ll let you know next week. This slowness does not bode well for my NaNoWriMo dreams for November. I have always wanted to do NaNoWriMo or participate in the national write a novel in a month month, but never had something plotted out and ready when November rolled around. But this year we are determined. My lovely-sister, Choco, and I are all plotting out a mystery and are going to try and write them in November. So October is our plotting month. So I need to plot my mystery and finish my next Passport to Romance idea this month…hmmm. To make it more fun, we not only picked a fun genre (mystery), which none of us have every written before (ugh!) but each of us is going to pick some random item that needs to be included in each book ms. In lew of my recent home goods purchase, I am choosing A Teapot Shaped Like A Fish. As the item I want us all to include. We shall see what the others choose.
