Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

One heartwarming moment this week was looking into the boy’s bedroom and seeing all three of my sons snuggled under a blanky on the top bunk, listening to my oldest read Beatrix Potter out loud by flashlight. So sweet.

And then I tried to order Christmas cards. Winkflash had a sale that was ending soon and so I got them all playing and went to work creating a card…while they took nearly everything that wasn’t nailed down and created an active volcano or something in the living room, painted watercolor masterpieces on my middle boy’s back, spread a smooth layer of peanut butter on my youngest boy’s back…(that might have been the day before?), and since my baby is potty training, had 12 successful pottys and 5 accidents. I got the cards ordered and the boys bathed and all of the potty puddles cleaned with vinegar, but it was a near thing.

I promise you a crazed animal, a concussion, and a kiss in every single book...you're welcome!

You Go Girl! Sounds like the P. Training is proceeding nicely and the reading at an excellent pace 🙂
