The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week
It was Sweet Boy#1’s 11th Birthday this week!
He made his own cake. A chicken coop constructed out of blocks of cake with a nest in the middle complete with candy eggs and small decorative chickens.
We had a party with friends and family and all sorts of craziness.
And what birthday would be complete without chicken themed gifts? This is a bag of chicken treats from The Cousins. His main gift was a tiny chicken coop of his own. We are putting it up in the back yard so that the pet chickens can be petted and snuggled all the time! Pictures of the coop will follow.

Those boys sure love their chickens don’t they. But whatever makes their day special, even if it means forming a fruit flavored toosie roll into a beak and sticking it into a cupcake!
