The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

Heartwarming moments this week. I just realized that all 3 of my boys asked me to do something special with them. Little things that they wanted to share with me, because they were important to them. This only happens so many times in a Mom’s life so I am soaking it all up.

Sweet Boy#3–Tossed me a Nerf sword and asked if we could sword fight.

Sweet Boy#2–Set up “Sentinels of the Multiverse” all on his own, got me out of bed, and taught me how to play the board game with him.

Sweet Boy#1–Came home from the school library with a book for me. He knew that I’d read the first book in the series to see if he might like it. He did and he read the second book too. The Angel’s Command by Brian Jacques. Then he saw it in the library months later and checked it out just for me to read.

Three awesome boys. Gotta love em!
