This week was a reading extravaganza. Not only did I take several days off of writing for Thanksgiving, but the Hunky Hubby gave me a much needed reading day taboot. And so I read: Gregor and the prophecy of Bane, Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods, and Gregor and the Marks of Secretall written by Suzanne Collins. This is a YA series mostly appreciated by Jr. High boys, my favorite readers of all. They seriously do pick the very best books. Action, adventure, life and death and love. It’s all there. I absolutely adored these books. And I even cried at the death of a giant cockroach. Now that is pulling off some extraordinary reader enthusiasm when you can accomplish tears over a bug.
