Reading Tai-Bo

Reading Tai-Bo

This week I zoomed through the latest release in this “Girl’s Boarding School for Spies” series that I absolutely love. I had several library books sitting around the house and some loans from friends, but I was ho hum about them all. Then the mail came and lo and behold this spy book was one of them. I leaped and shouted out my glee. Yeah! And then I stopped to analyze my reaction.

What had made me so happy at this book’s arrival, when I was so blase about the others? I came up with these reasons.

1. I’d been waiting for the book for a long time, reading the author’s blog occasionally and interested in her writing process.

2. I’d read her two previous books in the series and they were both wonderful, funny, and well done.

3. I knew the reading experience would be fun. Just what I need right now. Lots of action, boy craziness, girl power, and hilarity. Not too much death and angst.

What books make you leap for joy when they arrive in your possession. What is it that sucks you into a book so much that you are just salivating to read it?

I promise you a crazed animal, a concussion, and a kiss in every single book...you're welcome!
