Glory

Glory

As some of you know, my son riding the bus to school was one of the biggest obstacles between our family and public school. But the fact that we lived so far out of town made riding the bus inevitable. I prayed and worried about it years before my oldest was near school age. Then two years before we ended up sending him to school our Assistant Manager at camp convinced a bus driver from his church to drive kids to the river for us. He gave the boys a tour of the bus and let them sit in the seat and poke all the buttons, and I prayed that if my kids ever ended up riding the bus, that he would be their driver. My oldest started at the public school this fall and he loves riding the bus. His driver was very nice, but decided to retire after Christmas break. And who should take over my son’s bus route upon the driver’s retirement but that very same bus driver from camp that I had prayed for. Sometimes God just surprises you.
