Almost all of our CDs are from the 90’s. The Hunky Hubby noticed the boys starting to really enjoy music and so he ordered a few new CDs for them to enjoy. One of them was “Good Monsters” by Jars of Clay. There has been much singing and dancing and karate dancing and reading of lyrics and humming of tunes in bed after lights out at our house. One particular musical moment stood out though.

Sweet Boy#3 tripped and fell onto the floor. As he was flopped out upon the ground he sang out strong from his prone position–“I’m just a dead man lying on the carpet!” Dead Man/Carry Me is one of my favorite songs from that album too. It is so funny that this is what went through his mind as he plunged to the floor. Gotta love those boys!
