Boy Quotes

The boys are in the backseat of the car pretending. Two of them are “humans” and one is a baby bunny. They are pretending that they are having an amazing bath, a dangerous and exciting bath. There is a lot of laughing and jumping around in their seatbelts…and then this statement: Sweet Boy #1–“…and then you both stuck to it because it was so viscous!” He told me later that their bath had lots and lots of bubbles. Man I love the vocabulary that those little guys have picked up. So so sweet.

Sweet Boy#3–Is digging at a chunk of earth that he bought at the Academic Toolbox. Inside is a real bug. As he enthusiastically digs I over hear this proclamation: “This is Stupidopolis! Boom, Smash, Kerplat!” Then he plunges his digging tool down upon the unsuspecting clump of dirt. Hmmm…perhaps too much Calvin and Hobbs? Nah, that is impossible.
