Sweet Boy#1 spends 3 nights and 4 days in the hospital on an IV. He is all set up in his hospital bed after finally getting the IV in place with much pain. He looks over at me and says: “Why are you here Momma? I’m fine.” Mr. Independence himself.

His brother is finally coming home from the hospital and Sweet Boy#3 is excited.–“Kitty kitty is back from the vet with Daddy.” Yep, real life is not nearly exciting enough and so his brother is actually a kitten visiting the vet’s office.

Sweet Boy#2–Picks up a bookmark I got for him at the ACFW conference that has a little blue sandal hooked to the top. His imagination kicks in and…”This is One-footed Blue, terror of the seven seas.” I doubt the author realized that one of her bookmarks was named One-footed Blue, much less that he was the terror of anything whatsoever. But Sweet Boy#2 picks up on the details that other people miss.
