Um…this week I spent a lot of time staring at my computer screen and moldering blankly in my chair. What to do? What to do? But after much of the aforementioned moldering I did finish revising chapter 35, but that was all. This was the most pivotal chapter of the entire book. It is where my protagonist answers the “Story Question” where she finally makes the decision that she has been avoiding the entire time. I had to write a bunch of new material and delete a bunch of old silly stuff and rearrange it all and move some stuff from other chapters in there, stare blankly at my screen a lot, and on at least two occasions get up and write for an hour only to shut the computer down and crawl back into bed clueless as to what to write next. But I finished that chapter and I’m hoping next week will be easier.
