This week I jumped into revising my middlegrade NaNoWriMo manuscript. I need to get this thing done by May 1st so that I can submit it to an agent I like and then take it to a writer’s conference a few weeks later to pitch it. Since I also have a Christmas novella ms. that needs to be finished by May 1st, I am feeling the crunch. This week I was blessed to have feedback from both my critique partner Jenn, and my best friend Sarah. I went through the first six chapters several times, shortening sentences, adding details, removing confusion. The chapters are better, which was the goal. Now I just need to figure out how to get through the rest of it in the time allotted.
