This week I finished going through my Athens romance twice and added some sensory details courtesy of a friend who has visited and a college student who has lived in Athens. I also made some changes based on the suggestions of my first beta reader (my mom). I’m at 30,193 words. I’m waiting for a few more details from the girl who has lived in Athens and then I think that it will be ready to send to my editor. I really hope she likes it. Then I started my second revision of my NaNoWriMo middle grade manuscript. I am doing the exercises from “Writing the Breakout Novel Workbook” by Donald Maass and making the changes that this fun writing book inspires.
