Writing News

This week I wrote chapters 17, 18, 19, and 20 of my new Passport to Romance idea. My goal was to get it written in September and then edit until April before sending it in. That way I would send my editor a new Passport to Romance idea one year after I sent her the first one. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish in time. I got the second round of edits back from Jamie, my editor for Copenhagen Cozenage, read the whole book again, and made a whole new batch of changes to the ms. Then I sent it back to Jamie at Pelican. I know we have at least one more round of edits before the book is ready. I also did a bit of plotting for the mystery that I’m going to try to write for NaNoWriMo with my lovely sister and Choco. I figured out how I’m going to include the three elements that we all have to stick in our books. And what are those three elements? I know that you are desperate to know. Drum roll please…

A teapot shaped like a fish

A purple spandex suit

A bowsprit.

Now let’s see what 3 writers can do with exactly the same elements!

Kristen

I promise you a crazed animal, a concussion, and a kiss in every single book...you're welcome!
