This week I finally mailed off all of those glorious books about Mayan history (I order library books on the computer and they mail them to me, hooray for the mail order library!) and decided to start my research about modern day Mexico online. Since I discovered that the Sacrificial Well of Chichen Itza is located near Cancun Mexico, I decided to research Cancun. Apparently Cancun is very much a tourist town and so all week I have been cautiously peeking through vacation sites, trying to avoid accidentally buying a timeshare condo. If anyone who has actually been to Cancun or Chichen Itza stumbles upon this site, please please e-mail me so that I can interview you about the plants and bugs and persons that you encountered on your visit!

My parents went to Cancun a year ago for my cousin’s wedding. I’m not sure how much they could tell you, but you could ask!
