This week I used the “fake contest entry” I sent to my lovely sister to edit the first pages of Daughter of the Decoy King and Overturned. I managed to improve both beginnings significantly which always makes you feel good. I made a list of items to work on based on the scores from the “fake contest” and then proceeded to go over the first 15 pp. of Overturned and make sure that I held the readers interest the whole time. A good week all in all.
