Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

The Harrowing/Heartwarming Parent Moment of the Week

Hmmmm…was it chasing jumping leaping wrestling handstanding little boys through a train full of stern train personell? Or a 4 hour car drive through pottyless mountain vistas? Or the time that Sweet Boy#3 emptied a gallon sized ziploc bag full of sugarfree granola onto Grandma Judy’s rebounder, carpet, and box fan? Nope, the winner this week is unequivocally the two times that the Hunky Hubby and I showered the three boys in the coin operated campground showers at Jedediah Smith National Park, in the dark, using old T-shirts for towels, and praying that no men walked into the restroom as I rushed in to help them. This was especially exciting for the Hunky Hubby who on one occasion was supervising all three of our little bathers in the shower alone! You could hear them from several camp sites away. Good times…I think?

Sounds memorable, wild, riotous and crazy. If it wasn’t fun during the actual occasion, you will have many years of laughing and remembering the adventure with much fondness. This equates to much ‘funness’ I’m thinking.

    Love to you.
(Grandpa Dave has some ideas about the B-Day cake. If he has some time, I think he’s going to help me, which will make it even better! I’m assuming the B-Day boy wants chocolate?)

  • Sweet Boy#2 is all about chocolate.
