Alexander’s Cranberry Shortbread Cookies
1 cup flour
½ cup cornstarch
½ cup powdered sugar
¾ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup dried and sweetened cranberries
In bowl, mix first three ingredients. In separate bowl, beat butter with mixer until smooth. Add in flour mixture and vanilla. Blend together with mixer. Add in cranberries and mix again. Refrigerate for one hour. Remove from refrigerator and shape into one inch balls. Place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten cookie balls with fork. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for ten to twelve minutes. Remove from oven and enjoy with a cup of fragrant tea.
