This week the Hunky Hubby gave me a reading day, and I also got to sit in front of the computer and read while I waited for my pictures to download to winkflash. I got quite a bit read actually. Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox, Artemis Fowl and the Atlantis Complex, both by Eoin Colfer and Matched by Ally Condie. What did I learn from my reading this week…that even when writing for YA girls, one cannot completely focus on the emotional. I enjoyed the book but wanted more surprises and plot elements to interrupt all of the sighs and longing glances in matched. Like say…the Artemis Fowl books. Which I love, did I mention how much I love the Artemis Fowl books?
